Second Association Workshop in January 2026, Nuremberg

We are thrilled to announce that the Egyptian-German Cultural Association in Nuremberg (ÄDKN) successfully organized its second workshop of 2026 (the first for the newly-elected board), held physically in Nuremberg. This event marked an important milestone for our association, bringing together members and founders for a day of productive discussions and planning.

The workshop was a great opportunity for the board members to mark the start of their collaboration, discuss their ambition and goals within ÄDKN, and give an overview of their plans.

The members that have been re-elected from the previous board had the chance to give the new members valuable insights and views about the establishment of the association, the challenges and efforts exerted, and the goals achieved, to act as a foundation of a common understanding of the association’s – not so long – history and plans for a promising future.

Focus was on the cooperation and internal organisation within the association’s management structure involving the different working groups, and a discussion of the expected challenges and suggested ways to overcome them.

Of course, the workshop was not all work and no play. We enjoyed some fun activities and indulged in delicious cookies and drinks, fostering camaraderie and team spirit, and marked the end of the workshop with a team photo marking the start of a new promising chapter of the associations’ journey.
