Meeting with the Egyptian Ministry of Labour Delegation in Cooperation with GIZ

The Ägyptisch-Deutscher Kulturverein Nürnberg e.V. (ÄDKN) was pleased to host a dialogue with a delegation from the Egyptian Ministry of Labour, in cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

The meeting brought together representatives of the Ministry and members of the Egyptian community in Nuremberg with diverse professional and academic backgrounds and first-hand experience of living, studying, and working in Germany. Drawing on their own experiences, participants exchanged insights, perspectives, and ideas on how to improve the training, qualification, and integration of skilled Egyptian workers into the German labour market.

The discussion took place in an open and interactive workshop format, followed by a joint dinner, where participants continued their conversations and exchanged further ideas.

The meeting is intended to serve as a starting point for future cooperation.  The ideas shared will be developed into practical recommendations that can support future cooperation between the relevant partners.
