On July 6th, we came together as the ÄDKN community to celebrate summer with a joyful open-air gathering at Wöhrder Wiese in the heart of Nuremberg. With the sun shining and a gentle breeze in the air, it was the perfect day to relax, connect, and enjoy each other’s company.

The atmosphere was light and welcoming, with snacks and drinks provided free of charge by the association. We played simple games, had great conversations, and created a space where everyone – old friends and new faces – felt at home.

The summer fest was open to both members and non-members. For some, it was their first encounter with ÄDKN; for others, it was a great chance to reconnect. Non-members were invited to support the event with a small voluntary donation, helping us cover costs and keep events like this accessible for all.

At ÄDKN, our mission goes beyond cultural exchange – it’s about building a strong and supportive community. The summer fest was a great reminder of how meaningful simple moments can be when shared together.
